Human-centered design at scale

About

I'm a product designer who works on complex systems at scale — from reinventing how millions of people shop for groceries, to designing safety-critical interfaces for delivery vehicle fleets.

I lead projects from idea through execution. I run research, facilitate charrettes, partner with engineering and data science teams, and ship features that move business metrics. The work I've led has generated billions of dollars in annual revenue, saved lives, and is human-centered: simple, usable, and as effortless as possible given the constraints of the project.

I've designed for Google, Target, Amazon, American Express, Nike, Adidas, Caribou Coffee, and many others.

How I Work

Research-led

Every project starts with understanding user problems. I run interviews, use data to validate assumptions, and ground design decisions in real evidence before committing to solutions.

Collaborative

I work closely with engineering and product teams to build alignment, break through skepticism, and create shared ownership of the solution from day one.

Systems thinking

I design platforms and frameworks, not just screens. The goal is always a system that scales, adapts, and stays coherent as it grows.

Ship & learn

I believe in getting work into the world and continuing to research and iterate once it’s in users’ hands. Real usage always reveals what no prototype can.
